Public Transportation For Bradley International Airport
The Bradley International Airport has four different types of public transportation available. There are taxis, limousines, buses, and rental cars. Buses are available at the airport, and run between the airport and the Hartford area near the Old State House. This bus service is called Connecticut Transit. If you want door-to-door service, Valley Transporter has a shuttle service that leaves the airport from the baggage claims area and both terminals. They operate until twelve midnight.

Services At Bradley International Airport
When you arrive at the Bradley International Airport, you will find some services to enjoy while you are waiting for your flight to depart. The airport has a ten-minute manicure station located in terminal A and by the Food Court after the security checkpoint. If you need to have your shoes shined, there are two shoe shining booths after the security checkpoints in terminal A and Concourses C and E. Both services operate during airport hours.
You will find an information booth as well as a paging service in terminal A before the security checkpoint. Two other desks are found in the upper level ticket area as well as in the lower level by the baggage claim area. Any information you need is supplied at these desks. The lost and found items are turned over to the Bradley State Police and are listed on their website if you need assistance finding your lost item.
If you fly more than 100,000 miles a year, you can join the US Airways Club. The membership allows you access to the Executive Club, which is located by Gate A-6. Driving To Bradley International Airport
The directions for driving to the Bradley International Airport are easy to follow, and depending on your starting location may take up to an hour or more. Albany and Boston are about two hours away from the airport, while Hartford and Springfield are only about fifteen minutes. Worcester and New Haven are an hour away, while Brattleboro and Bridgeport are an hour and fifteen minutes. If you are using public transportation, driving times may vary.
When traveling from the east to the airport, you will take Route 90 to the exit for Route 84 west. You take this to Route 291 west to the exit for Route 91 going north. At exit 40, you get off 91 and follow the signs to the airport. When you are coming from the west, you will take Route 84 east to the exit for Route 91 to exit 40 and follow the signs leading to the airport.
When traveling from the south, you will take Route 95 north to the exit for Route 91 north. You will follow this to exit 40 where you will continue to follow the signs to the airport. From the north, you will take Route 91 south to exit 40 and follow the signs leading to the airport. As you can see, the directions are easy to follow with very few exit ramps to maneuver.

Restaurants Located At Bradley International Airport
When you arrive at the Bradley International Airport, you will find a few restaurants and lounges before the security checkpoints. The Concorde's Restaurant in the hotel offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a Starbuck's Café and Coffee located in the hotel lobby and a LavAzza Coffee and Pastry before the checkpoint in terminal A by Concourse E. LavAzza Coffee and Pastry is located after the security checkpoint as well.
In terminal A by the concourse Food Court, you will find a Fresh City, Fresh Soft Befortzels, and a Boston Pizza. There is a McDonald's if you are looking for a fast food restaurant. Located in terminal A of Concourse E is an Edy's Ice Cream, Einstein's Bagels, and a Lock's Landing. In terminal B at the Concourse B area, they have a Sundowner Café.
In terminal A by Concourse C, you will find a Wicked Good Subs and a Last Resort Lounge. The restaurants are open during airport operations, but the hotel restaurants and café have their own hours of operation. The establishments are all children friendly, except for the pubs and lounges. If you buy drinks such as a soda or fruit drink before the security checkpoints, you will need to discard the beverage before passing through the checkpoint for security reasons.

Shopping At Bradley International Airport
The Bradley International Airport does have a few gift shops before and after the security checkpoints. Before the security checkpoints, you will find a Paradies Shop in terminals A and B by Concourses C and E. At Concourses C and E you will find a Paradies Kiosk before the security checkpoint in terminals A and B. If you buy items at these two shops, you will have to check them at the security checkpoint to pass inspection.
After the security checkpoints, you will find an Essentials in terminal B by Concourse E. There is a Cover 2 Cover in terminal A by Concourse E, which is after the security checkpoint. Paradies Kiosk and Paradies Shops are located in terminals A and B by Concourses C and E. Brooks Brothers is located in terminal A by the Food Court, while CNBS is located in terminal A by the concourse Food Court.
The shops that are located after the security checkpoints have been approved by airport security. Any items bought from these shops are allowed to be placed in your carry-on bag without needing any additional scanning. There are some small stands that will have newspapers and a few magazines near all departing gates or in the immediate area of your departure gate.

Banks And Communications At Bradley International Airport
The Bradley International Airport offers free wireless throughout terminals A and B for guests to use with their wireless laptops. The airport has Internet Kiosks located in terminals A and B for both arriving and departing passengers to use. Parking At Bradley International Airport
A parking garage is located in front of terminal A at Bradley International Airport. There is an additional parking area across from terminal B. If you're using the long term parking area located a short distance from the airport, there are shuttle buses that transport you to and from the airport terminal. These buses operate twenty-four hours a day.
The long term garage parking is for thirty minutes or for the entire week with different rates for different times. The location is only about a hundred feet from the terminal. The short term parking garage is located only a hundred feet from the terminal and has parking rates for thirty minutes up to a daily rate. This area has no weekly rate discounts.
Located three hundred feet from the airport's terminal B are lot B and long term lot 1 with daily and weekly rates. A shuttle bus travels between lot 1 and terminals A and B. Lot B is recommended for passengers flying charters, international flights, and Air Canada Jazz as well as American Eagle. Lots 3 and 4, as well as lot 5B, are economy parking lots with daily and weekly rates. There is a shuttle bus service between these lots and the airport twenty-four hours day.
