Christmas Party Games
Games are an important part of any party or celebration. During the holidays, especially, games can really get party guests into the spirit of the season. Here are some tips on how to play Christmas party games:
Christmas Trivia Game A Christmas trivia game can be adapted for adults or children. Ask a series of Christmas-related trivia questions and have the guests write down their answers. Whoever has the most correct answers at the end of the game wins. You can create trivia questions based on the birth of Christ, Christmas folklore, Christmas traditions, Christmas television shows, Christmas songs and carols, etc.
"Grinch" Christmas Gift Swap Have each guest bring a wrapped Christmas gift to exchange. Players will then each draw a number out of a hat. Whoever goes first gets to choose and open one of the gifts. Player number 2 will then have the option of "stealing" that gift or selecting and opening another gift. As the play goes on, players who have the higher numbers will be able to select from any of the opened gifts or a new gift.
Pin the Nose on Rudolph(or a snowman, Santa, elf, etc.) This is a fun game for young children. Get a piece of cardboard and draw Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer's face on it. Don't draw Rudolph's red nose, however. Instead, cut out several red circles and put a piece of tape on the back of each one. Give each player a red circle "nose" and then blindfold players as they try to pin the nose on Rudolph's face. Whoever pins his nose closest to the correct spot wins. If Rudolph isn't your favorite character (or you think he is too hard to draw), you can make this game based on a snowman, Santa or any other Christmas character.
