Steps Collect the materials - craft glue, card, paper, ribbon, leaves, gold leaf,etc that you want to use for your collage. Use a plain card large enough to create layers. Roughly tear strips of a couple of different types of papers. Different textures work as well as different colours. If you like the more geometric style, then cut shapes of the different paper. Glue them to the card on an angle or straight up and down however your imagination or creative mind desires. Glue some ribbon on the card. Glue a picture, happy birthday stamp, valentine heart or feather on a separate piece of card to accompany it. Tips Use any old gift paper, brown paper works, used birthday cards to get different texture and colours. Small things create centre points for the collage. Warnings Let a layer dry completely before you add more glue and layers. The glue might come through some paper and not look very attractive.
